Minuette is one of Twilight's Canterlot friends that she had before she moved to Ponyville, and was also one of the bridesmades at Cadence and Shining Armour's wedding.

She's shown to be a chatty, sociable pony, who's positive, and is delighted to see Twilight again when she comes to visit her in Canterlot. She's been friends with Twinkle Shine and Lemon Hearts ever since they were foals, and is even friends with Pinkie Pie after Shining and Cadence's wedding, and visits her in Ponyville.

She was also friends with Moon Dancer as a filly, however lost contact with her until Twilight came to Canterlot to visit.
