The Tatzlwurm appears in "Three's a Crowd" (season 4), when Cadence, Twilight and Discord are searching for the flower to cure Discord's blue flu. Once they find it, Cadence and Twilight are attacked by the Tatzlwurm, which drags each of them in with black tentacle- like tounges. Once they defeat it, they find that Discord was faking his illness. The Tatzlwurm seemingly attempts to attack again, but instead sneezes over Discord, making him sick for real.
