Jade Singer (Who changed her name to Summer Mane to avoid attention) was a famous bestselling author. However, when the fame was too much, she asked Celestia if she could stay in the achives as the ryal archivist. When Twilight is sent by Celestia to help her, she finally returns to her life as Jade Singer and releases another book. She only appears in one of the micro-series comics.

She wears spectacles, with golden rims on a gold chain. She also has a bandaged left leg, which she rests on a blue cart.

Her cutie mark is 4 books, which she tries to disguise as 2 book shelves to avoid being recognised.
