Trixie is a blue unicorn, and a rival to Twilight Sparkle. Originally just a show boat trying to showcase her 'talents', it develops even further into a pure rivalry between the two. During "Magic Duel", Trixie is corrupted by the alicorn amulet, brought from a shop merchant. She uses it to enslave Ponyville, setting up a forcefield and throwing Twilight out. Luckily, Twilight returns to battle Trixie and defeats her with the help of her friends. In the end, Trixie apologises for what she has done, and dubs herself "The great and apologic Trixie", as apposed to "The great and powerful Trixie" That she had before.

In "Boast Busters", Trixie wears a purple cape and hat with yellow and blue stars of different shapes on them. However, in "Magic duel" She is shown wearing the grey, black and red alicorn amulet. Her cutie mark is a magic wand with a wisp of light blue magic behind it.
