Chrysalis is the tall, black mother of the changeling swarm. She's responsible for finding her subjects food (love) to feed on, which is why she resorts to coming to Equestria, which has lots of love to offer. To get the love she needed, she took the form of Princess Cadence and sapped the love from her husband, Shining Armor. With help from the elements of Harmony, Chrysalis was finally defeated by the real Cadence and her swarm and her were blasted away.

She doesn't have a cutie mark, and her legs, horn and mane are full of holes. Her wings are like a bugs, and also have holes in them.
