Babs seed is a brown earth pony from Manehatten. In "One bad apple", she acts as a bully towards the Cutie Mark Crusaders and sides with Diamond Tiara, to avoid being bullied (which she faces back at home in Manehatten). In the end, the crusaders realise her true motivations rather than just seeing her as a bully and invite her to join the cutie mark crusaders. She accepts, and quickly becomes Apple blooms "Favourite cousin."

While she didn't have her cutie mark at first (and would often hide her flank with her tail), Apple Bloom later recieves a letter from her saying that she got her cutie marks, which was a pair of scissors that closly ressemble an apple.
