Big Macintosh is a red earth pony stallion who lives on the farm with his two sisters Apple jack and Apple bloom, and with his grandma Granny smith. Big Mac isn't one to talk, and has scarcely anymore lines than "Eeyup" or "Nope". He's a hard working, shy farm pony who is usually bucking apples with Applejack out in the orchard. He's been paired up with Cheerilee via a love potion, thanks to the Cutie mark crusaders during hearts and hooves day.

His cutie mark is a large, green half apple, occasionally seen with four white stars around it.
