Flower Crown
It was the most beautiful and colorful day of the year, the Spring equinox, day purposely chosen to The Ceremonial presentation of the Dark Water Pride happen. All pride were bustling, excited for the event, allies and visitors were arriving from everywhere.Far away from all the commotion, could be spotted two lioness at exclusive area.
Aquarius was looking blankly at nothing at all, she had dark circles under her eyes, prominent cheeck bone, and an overall skinny facade. Her eyes almost couldn't keep themselves open, the young lioness was indeed overwhelmed by her role, however, she wouldn't let others thinks she couldn't handle anything, she had to keep the strong face. Marianne was helping her daughter to get ready. She surely noticed something was off with Aquarius, and knew she was struggling to keep looking regal, but wasn't sure how to talk with her daughter about it. With her kindest voice, Marianne began to speak.
- Daughter, I worry about you.
- What do you mean, mother? - Aquarius didn't move, neither dared to look at the older lioness besides her.
- Don't you think you're a little exhausted?- Marianne said frowning.
-Don't be a fool, Mother. I'm completely fine.-
-In any case, we can talk to your father. Maybe delay this ceremony until you feel well again. Marianne stared at her first daughter, seeing her resemble soften a little. For a feel seconds she could feel relieved, however, her daughter face became once again serious.
- I've already said that I'm fine.
Marianne could feel a twinge in her heart due to Aquarius sharp word. Although she didn't want to see her daughter suffering, she couldn't do much more.
Well, these little story was based on something that happened to me some time ago.
Back to 2015, the beginning of my depression. I was really bad emotionally, mentally and physically, and my mother was pretty much worried about me. I tried my best to seem okay, but it wasn't enough. The fact that I was struggling made my mother suffer. 2015 was the first time I saw my mother cry out of desperation, and it broke my heart.
