The Return
She looked at him. He was just as he was when he disappeared - massive, bulky and solemn. As he looked at her, a smile crossed his face. Raziya felt tears drip down her cheeks. 'Ch-choyo?'
'Hush now,' Choyo murmured. 'It's going to be alright. I'm here now.'
But as Raziya buried her head in his mane, she dreaded to think of Casper, and what Choyo would do when she told him the truth.

And here we have the love triangle that is Raziya, Casper and Choyo. Choyo is Kovu's father, but he left Raziya when she became pregnant, and has been out of Raziya's life since. Now that Kovu is roughly an adolescent, Raziya has a new love, Casper, but Choyo has returned.
