His Dark Secret
So I had this weird dream last night, and it was about The Lion King oddly enough. In this dream Nala had recently given birth to twin cubs, Kopa and Kiara. It was a very interesting dream. This picture was a result of that dream and so is the following story.
Story time:
The differences between the two cubs were shocking, Kiara was the perfect blend of Nala and Simba, but Kopa was not. Kopa shared the rusty orange fur of his uncle, Scar. Sarabi said that Kopa's appearance could be a genetic throwback, Nala had agreed with her mother-in-law. She also brought her father into the mix, saying that the one time she had met him, he did share some outlander features and that both families could have a red furred ancestor somewhere in the family tree.
But Simba had his doubts, he believed that Nala had lain with Scar before she came to him, not willingly mind you. So one night, he took the tiny male away from Pride Rock and into the gorge where Mufasa had died just 3 years previously. It was there that he killed him. It broke his heart to murder something so innocent and helpless but he knew it had to be done.
The next morning, Nala was distraught. Kopa was missing. The pride searched frantically for him, and found is his battered and broken body later that day. Upon examination, Rafiki revealed that the cub was mauled by another lion. The blame was quickly put on Zira for she had been the mate of Scar. She denied everything. How could she have killed Kopa with three young cubs of her own to take care of? Nevertheless, Simba exiled her and her followers.
Don't take any of that seriously mind you, it's just a simple fanfic based on a character in a bunch of books that were not made by Disney. I don't actually consider Kopa canon but I do enjoy playing with non-canonical chracthers. And btw, this isn't an actual theory. Just a dream I had. Nothing more.
