Heirs to the Tyba Pride!~

It was a warm summer night.
It was late, all the lionesses of the pride were sleeping soundly in the shelter of the den. But the males had other things on their mind.
It was nights like this that made them want to just enjoy the atmosphere. Enjoy the stars. They laid upon the side of a grassy hill, and just stared at the stars above.
Ni, who was the king at the time, was explaining to his son and his grandson the meaning behind the stars.
''They say, the great kings of the past look down at us from those stars..''.
Odin, Ni's grandson looked at the sky with awe as he asked, ''Wow.. Really..?''
Ni nodded, ''Yes..''
Odins father, Ni's son, took in a deep breath of the hot summer night. It soothed him. He just closed his eyes and relaxed.
Ni whispered under his breath, ''I hope I'll be up there one day.. A great king of the past..''.
Ni's son whispered in return confidently, ''You will, dad.. You're a great king..''. He opened his eyes and turned his head towards his father and added, ''And an even greater father..''.
Ni smiled at his son, his heart felt warm. His son never usually said stuff like that. It felt good to hear his son say that.
Ni's son closed his eyes again and just began to doze off.
Odin laid their in silence with his grandpa. He knew his grandpa was getting old, but he just couldn't imagine the kingdom he's grown to love being without him.
Would the Tyba Pride go on without his grandad there? His grandpa is the one who started the pride himself. Would it last without him?

Little did Odin and his father know, only a few short days later.. Ni will lose his life and join the other great kings of the past..

Anyways, this is an image I decided to do because I thought Odin needed a little background into his family.
This image is of Ni (Odin's grandad), and then Odin's father and Odin himself! :)
I don't have a character made for Odin's father, yet. But he's a very handsome lion, I may just make him official. ;)

Anyways, this is my idea of Ni when he's older.
Ni is mentioned in the Six New Adventures book. In my version, after the encounters with Nala, he grows older and falls in love with a lioness. They start a pride together called the Tyba Pride and the legacy is born. :p
