Katara had snuck off to go exploring and ended up getting lost, while getting lost though she made a new friend, the little wild dog had snuck Katara into her home for the night, keeping an eye on her new friend.

Looks pretty good. The only suggestions I would make for the African Wild Dog is to make the legs a little thinner and paws a bit smaller. Also, make the nose more rounded so it looks less feline.
