"Aunt Sarafina?"
Oh boy did I struggle turning a grown up Kovu into a teenager xD Anyhoo, this is a scene from Nakoa's story when he ends up in the Pride lands and meets his aunt, Sarafina.
As Nakoa awoke, he found himself in a small, yet comfy den, and the confused teen looked around, until he heard foot steps, and was immidietally on alert. A lioness entered the den, and upon seeing him being awake, she started smiling.
- Ah, you're finally awake, we were getting a bit worried, she spoke with a warm and friendly voice. Something in the tone of the lioness's voice made Nakoa calm down, and he finally brought himself to ask her:
- Forgive me, but... where am I? And who are you, ma'am?
The lioness smiled.
- You're in the Pridelands, my dear. My mate rescued you from a fire. My name is Sarafina, she responded with a smile, and upon hearing that name, Nakoa raised his eyebrows.
- Sarafina... Aunt Sarafina? he said quietly, and the lioness pulled her head back in confusion and raised her eyebrows.
- It's-it's me, Nakoa... your nephew, Nakoa then said, and Sarafina let out a small gasp, and her smile widened.
- Little Nakoa...? Oh my, how you've grown!
