What if #I see dead people
Simba has powers!
The What If world for now: Zira is a crazy lunatic who has hallucinations of her imaginary cubs. Zazu mated with all the lionesses from TLK movies and is the father of all the cubs, especially Zira making her imaginary cubs be born. Simba has the power to see dead people, he sees Kovu in TLK2 because secretly Kovu is Kiara's dead son who went to the past by a time machine.
Note to myself: Stop doing this
