The Lion And The Butterfly
It had been a few days since Theo and Roscoe were rescued, and Theo had come to live in the Isu Keeney pride. After spending almost all his life alone in the darkness of his underground prison, Theo was still having trouble adjusting to living in a pride again, and pretty much stayed in his own company - or Roscoe's, who was pretty much the only one he allowed himself get close to at the time, and one evening, when most of the pride had settled down to sleep, he decided to stroll about the lands of his new home, and arrived to a small waterfall.
He inhaled the fresh air around the waterfall, and let out a heavy sigh, and that's when a butterfly flew past him, landing on his nose. Theo had a flashback from when he was a cub, chasing a butterfly similar to this one, and a wide smile formed on his face, he let out a small chuckle and the butterfly took off, flying away.
- Yeah... I think I'll like it here, thought the young to himself, with a smile, and continued his stroll.

Awwww! This is such a nice scene - really sweetly written! Love the
addition of the butterfly! Good old Theo Hope he'll be very
happy. P'raps he could now go get some advice from I (Zeke's papa, who also had to adapt to a new life) about how to put on some weight! 
Kiddin' Sparrow: Yes, just to clarify things, even though the whole Auni were looking for Roscoe, it was only Drummer, Lynnie and Fresco who found and rescued him and Theo. And I think we decided Bakari would not be part of the Auni, as any extra space would be reserved for Zeke at least (if he came back) - I also think he would be too young to be in the Auni saving Roscoe anyway, as he would be Roscoe's age (a cub) |

Yeah - of course we'll have to remember he was as much a victim of
Lagiza as Roscoe was, and was actually rescued along with Roscoe by
Drummer, Lynnie and Fresco. But yeah, possibly. Once he's truly
settled in and come out of his shell, I don't see why not. And thanks! |
