The Final Blow
Watching the leader of the gang, Zuberi, roll his eyes at Tai then turn to Jade, who ignored his eyes on her, and he ordered her, "Come on, baby."
That hurt Tai. He couldn't believe his ears. He wanted to rip apart Zuberi just for calling Jade that. He growled to himself but eyes widened when Jade looked at him. Jade locked eyes with Tai before stating, "No."
Zuberi turned around, glaring at Jade, and with his right paw, he smacked her. However, Jade did not make a noise. She simply stood there in silence. That was it. Tai couldn't take it anymore. He charged at Zuberi, putting himself in between Jade and Zuber.
"You will NEVER touch her again!" Tai growled. Zuberi looked up at him, fear in his eyes, but still snarled back. Jade looked at Tai in shock, though she knew she shouldn't be surprised. He loved her and she loved him back. Tai had always been protective of her. Nothing had changed.
