A fight to the death!
Upon Simba, her half brother, returning to the pridelands they were told the terrible lie that Simba was the one responsible for Mufasa's death.
Mya, although she never met Simba, couldn't believe what she had just heard.
Sarabi always told Mya stories of Simba, and how he was such a great cub, always very sweet and that he loved his father. Mya couldn't believe that Simba would do such a thing to his father.
Scar, with his henchmen the hyenas behind him, began cornering Simba. They trapped him so that Simba was at the near edge of Pride Rock.
Upon a lightning strike, a dry decaying tree caught on fire. The dead savanna around it quickly caught a flame. The edge of the rock collapsed, sending Simba tumbling.
Scrambling, Simba happened to catch a piece of the edge, and held on for dear life.
The lionesses watched, unaware of how to act. Should they help Simba even though they just heard from Simba himself that he killed the beloved Mufasa?
Simba was dangling, trying to climb his way up. But Scar stood above him, saying nonsense, ''Now.. this looks familiar..'' becoming more dramatic, ''Hmmm.. now where have I seen this before?''.
A big smile swept across his face as he dawned on a realisation, ''Ah! Yes.. I remember.. This is just the way your father looked before he died..''.
He reached down and dug his front paws into Simba's. His nails digging deep into Simba's wrist. He reached his head down and whispered, ''Here's my little secret...''
The rest was unheard by the lionesses, but it caused Simba to scream horrified.
Before long, Simba jumped, with all his might and barreled over Scar. Pinning him down angrily, ''Murderer!''
The lionesses all stared at the display confused. Unsure of what to think.
Scar began to beg, ''No Simba! Please!''
Simba ordered, ''Tell them the truth!''
Scar began to make excuses, ''Truth? Truth is in the eye of the beh---'' his excuses cut short by Simba placing his paw over Scars neck threateningly.
Scar snarled out, ''Alright.. Alright!'' He whispered something to Simba that the lionesses had no way of hearing..
Simba snarled, ''So they can hear you..''
Scar said angrily and confidently, ''I.KILLED.MUFASA!''
That's all it took. The lionesses couldn't hold back any longer, they began attacking the hyenas. It was time they helped Simba take back the land that was rightfully theirs.
Although Mya never knew her brother, she was more than eager to help him kill her father.
