Neve's first day in the Pridelands
"And the grass! Momma, all the grass is tall and green, not like at home!"
*chuckle* "Yes, Neve, I can see the grass."
"Those giant gray cows-
"Elephants. dear."
"Elephants! They're too big. And the trees-"
"Neve, if you keep squirming I can't give you a bath."
"Oh! Sorry Momma."
Short silence.
"Momma? Who was the older boy that watched us today while we were with King Mufasa?"
"That was Manish, dear."
"He promised to play with me tomorrow Momma! Maybe we'll go back to the water hole and the bayobab tree and-"
"Neve, your bath will never get done if you keep talking."
Neve and her momma ^-^
Neve and Manish have an age gap, yall. Manish is a young teenager when Neve arrives to the Pridelands. He only treats her as a cub until the day of her first hunt...when he has to save her. I'll do an image of that soon!
