Running Away
Emerald ran as fast as she could, not a single thought in her mind popped up telling her to go back.
"Hey you there, Stop At Once" two voice shouted out.
Emerald turned her head to see two males chasing after her, they were mighty fast, but Emerald was faster, stronger, more agile and even more sly.
She pounced into the tallest grass she could find, hoping they wouldnt see her, she could of slowed down if she wanted too but she couldnt take the risk of being caught and tooken back to her family.
Emerald kept on running as fast as she could until lost sight out all the pridelands. she stopped to take a breather, her breath heavy and exhausted.
Emerald froze when she heard something moving around in the grass, she crouched down, ears pinned back, teeth and claws out ready to attack. Her heart was pounding as faster and faster as the rustling got louder and louder.
A familar face came from the bushes, a familiar male friend of hers.
Emerald sighed a sigh of relief before smiling "thank god its only you" she said walking over to him.
the male lion smile back but it soon turned serious "let me come with you Emz" he said
"you cant survive on you're own out here you need some one to"
"to protect me? beleive me i learnt to protect myself ages ago! i dont need anyone to help me!" Emerald said in anger.
"but"
"No!, ALL. MY. LIFE. Ive had to look after myself!, care for myself!, hunt for myself!" Emerald was almost at the brink of tears but she held them in.
the male stood their silent before nuzzling her " you dont need to be alone anymore Emerald im here" the male said calmly
Emerald stood their for a few minuts before finally agreeing.
"fine!, but you better not betray me, ive been betrayed enough by my family" she said
"Agreed" the male said
