Kivaku wandered behind Nyama as the pair made there way back toward the mountains. ''C'mon, Kivaku, you're not usually so unenthused!'' she called back sharply.
''Yeah...'' Kivaku hesitated, stopping. So did Nyama. ''About that...''
''What's wrong with you? I thought you'd be sick of the lionesses under Simba's rule by now.'' Nyama said with a frown.
''I'm staying here, Nyama...'' Kivaku told her.
''/What!?'' Nyama gasped. He walked over.
''I'm not going back.''
''Why not?'' Nyama snapped.
''It's... It's really complicated, Nyama. I've... grown up since I got here. I have... responsibilities here now.'' Nyama stared, watching him turn back toward pride rock. ''I'm not who I used to be... Goodbye, Nyama.''
Nyama stared as the lion walked away. Another male... the second one she had been betrayed by.

Kivaku's into something he can't get out of... and I'm not gonna say what yet :p He has to grow up and learn to be loyal, though.
