In this scene, I'd say it takes place maybe around a few days after Reem cures Hajari's wounds from the hyena attack. She invited him out on a night stroll, wanting to try to get to know him better and learn where he was originally from. Reem is smart, so she did not walk with him alone. Secretly, some lions from the pride hid and follow them behind in case things ever gone wrong.
Hajari was a bit hesitant to share such personal information. He never discussed things about his father in years. They've never had a good relationship and it still bothers Hajari emotionally today. But he trusts Reem. He knows that she would actually listen and hear him out. So thus, he begins the story about his childhood, the name of his pride, his parents, how he has a lot of siblings in different age groups but never met any of them, etc. The story was going good until Hajari talked deeply about his relationship with his father.
It hurt Reem, knowingly how warm and close she is with her own father (although, they live in separate prides but Simba and Nala still visit occasionally). She don't know what she would do if she was in Hajari's position. She understands now why he is alone without a pride. You'd think he'd be successful with his own, since he is indeed older than her (not too old, few years).
All Hajari needed is a fresh new start of fresh air somewhere, where he can reset his life and bury his father's issues. This conversation is the start of what made Reem begin to trust him and perhaps a start of friendship.
I hope you like Rainbow! :D Just a continuation of your previous image haha.
