"I still don't trust you, you know." Reem remarked at the tall lion. It had been a few days since his stay in the pride, and his injuries were all but healed. Kopa had been persuading his sister to allow Hajari to stay. Hajari gave her his signature grin. "Trust is a two way path, Reem. I don't trust you either."
Reem seemed taken aback by this. "I healed you!" She let out. "And I saved a cub." Hajari shrugged. Reem nodded, begrudgingly accepting the truth in his words. Perhaps he could stay after all.
