"Will I Ever See You Again?"
So, I imagine Malka being the type of father who is kind of "in" and "out" and does not appear around as much. But not purposefully, since he is King of the mountain pride and has his own tasks/duties to attend 24/7.
But every now and then, he would stop by Pride Rock and check up on his daughter Naamah (this is after Scar's death) and see how well she has been doing.
Naamah would hate when he would leave because, it would always seems like forever when he comes back. She often times would follow him, but of course, he would stop her. That is when Naamah as she grown older, when think of Malka as a no good father and blamed him for her mother's death.
Naamah: "Will I ever see you again, daddy?"
Malka: "Soon darling, soon..."
