Not A Pleasant Meeting
Naamah meets up with Etana (Ngosi's mate later on), for the first time and lets just say, it did not go so very well as Ngosi would hope. Yikes!
Naamah: "So you're Etana huh?"
Etana: "Y-Yes...nice to meet you, Naamah. Ngosi has told me so much about you. You are such a great friend to him."
Naamah: "Thanks...but how would i know if your'e a good friend to him also?"
Etana: "Excuse me?"
Naamah: "Let's just cut to the chase shall we? You know the Pride Lands will never forgive what your parents have done to our home. How can i trust you being around Ngosi? I don't want your kind treating him any harm..."
Etana: "My kind? First of Naamah, I am nothing like my parents. Whatever they have done before me is there business. Please, do not judge me for their wrongs. I am totally different from them. I would not dare to hurt Ngosi. I understand that you both have been friends for a long time and that you care much about him and your pride, but I would never cross that line. Please believe me and hear me out."
Naamah: "Hmm...I suppose. Words are so easy to believe though. But if Ngosi is happy with you, then I will respect his choice. He talks to me about you a lot too and it does sound so wonderful. It is just so hard to believe because--"
Etana: "Because, I am a daughter of two evil lions. I get it, I have heard that line way too many times across the Savannah. You don't have to go any further with that. But alright, you have yourself a deal Naamah. I will prove to you action-wise that I am not the lioness you think I am."
Naamah: "Deal."

Whew, talk about tension! That was a bit harsh and rude there Naamah hehe...
