King of His Own World
A new, updated version of Kopa (in my 'verse). I tried to combine Simba, Nala and Mufasa as best as I could.
His nose and chin are bigger than Simba's, and he is much larger than his father. His mane is soft and round, and so are his ears. He has Nala's chin fluff and light eyebrows. His mane is very much identical to Simba's, except the partition starts way off to the side, and his bangs are much larger. Oh, and Kopa has that strand of hair over his face, that's standard. His eyes are red, but they're not perfect red, more close to purple or so.
Also, I've been brainstorming some new ideas for Kopa. Instead of going with the ''Zira killed Kopa'' theory that I used to follow, I'm thinking of something new. Hence, in this verse, Zira had nothing to do with Kopa at all.
Simba ascended the throne when he was pretty young, and hence Nala gave birth to Kopa just after they got back from the jungle. Kopa's birth was rejoiced, and he was told to be the future king. However, Kopa was different. He was always asking his father if there was something out there, and wanted to go beyond the Pridelands. Simba forbade it, and Kopa kept quiet, for now. A couple of years passed as Kopa's king training progressed, and he was a teen. Suddenly, Nala found herself pregnant with another cub. Then, Kopa took that opportunity to leave the Pridelands. Simba' horrified at his son's decision, tried to coax him into staying, but Kopa told him that he couldn't stay at pride Rock. He needed adventure, and to roam free. So, Simba, with a heavy heart, watched his first son leave his home. However, all was not lost, as Simba and Nala's second cub was to be pronounced his heir. Kopa did come frequently to visit his family and see his new baby sister, but things changed when he bumped into young Vitani. It was just a chance meeting, which ended with Zira chasing him off, having no idea who he was. A couple of years later, Kopa returns to find the Pridelands changed, with the Outsiders and the Pridelanders merged together. He runs into a full-grown Vitani, and he recognizes her as the sassy cub he met once. They spend time together, after being formally introduced, and Kopa finds himself falling head over heels for Vitani. However, he finds that he must continuously move, and he asks Vitani to accompany him on his travels. She agrees, but only for a while. But sadly, in an incident with a pride of rogues, Vitani loses her life, and Kopa finds himself all alone again. Wandering aimlessly, he meets a lioness called Nadhari, and has an affair with her. He finds himself in love again, but tries to shield it as a cover up for his heart breaking again. When Nadhari suddenly gives birth to a cub and returns to the Pridelands (her homeland), Kopa sticks close to keep an eye on his cub, Adia.
This was actually just a quick render to get some stress off. I'm working on a new series called Legends, and I'm already done with the first book. It should be out as soon as I finish the cover page, which shouldn't take long. So, keep an eye out.
