Jeshi watched in curiosity as Nuka gnawed away at a patch of termite infested fur on his arm. 'Nukee? What are you doing?' she asked, her one ear flicking with interest.
'Eating termites. So scamper, little termite, or I'll eat you!' he replied huffily.
Jeshi frowned. 'I is not a termite. I is lioness.' she replied, puzzled.
'Yet you have the brains of a termite...' mumbled Vitani harshly. She was pulling up a root from a dead tree.
'Is dat Zira coming wiv Kovee from his training?' she frowned, looking at Zira whom was being followed by Kovu.
'Kovu, you get stronger and stronger with every lesson!' Zira cackled with glee.
Zira went off into a trance about the future. She went of muttering about how she would rule.
'Did you go see Kiara again, lover boy?' Vitani hissed.
Kovu sniffed. 'Maybe. I've still not spoken to her yet.'
'in lvoe and you've never even communicated, only looked at her. Boy.' itni sniffed, returning to her root.
'Love...? What is love?' Jeshi asked.
'When someone shows feeling towards someone, and cares for them and gives them kisses...like mothers love you.' Kovu explained.
'Supposed to love you...' mumbled Nuka.
Jeshi felt sad. No one loved her.
