The lioness was sure her this was the job for her. She approached the large lion who was leading them. ''Obi,'' she said, her voice oddly cold, hollow, flat. ''Allow me. The slopes of this mountain are unkind. Do not let any lion or cub cross until I come back. This way may not even be worthwhile.'' The large male looked at her, contemplating this.
''Go on.'' The lioness analyzed a challenge in his voice and a sense of curiosity in his eyes.
Just as she did, Obi wanted to know just how much her superior structure could handle.
She walked up to the sheer cliff, ignoring the easier path and instead scanning the flat climb up. She did not care for the 'easy way'. She wanted to do it the hard way. To fight. To see just what her structure would due for her.
She leaped onto the wall, clawing her way up, feeling no stress as she easily pulled her bodyweight along. She felt nothing in her impervious metal claws, and her eyes were constantly, instinctively, flitting their way across the flat expanse of rock before her. About halfway up, the lioness began to recognize the dull feeling of none other than fatigue. She snarled as it grew worse.
''I am superior,'' she growled into the wind. ''I am strong. I am because I can be.'' She continued, forcing her artificial muscles to go forth. She ignored the lactation building up in them, and instead roared into the wind,
''I AM A-I.''

Yup, she doesn't have a name - I'm thinking Seven or something, as she is the most ambitious project the illegal lion owners took on. Her brain was replaced with a mother board, her bones with terra cotta, and her claws and teeth with metal. Her eyes are now hunting, sharp machines. She is an android lioness.
And she's one of Obi's lionesses. She still has her reproductive system intact, and her powerful body - though not inheritable - means she'd be an excellent cub-bringer. She is also aggressive and bold, having no social tact at all. That was lost with her brain. She believes she's incapable of emotion.
Maybe a handsome male can change that...
