Not Changing
"So, Mr. Soon-To-Be king, how's life?" -Jade asked, sitting down next Tai. She gave him a smile and he couldn't help but chuckle. She always put him in a good mood.
"Alright. Just thinking. About being king,"- Tai explained looking at Jade. "I wish we could be cubs again, with no worries."- Tai adds, sighing.
Jade nods in agreement but then grins. "Yeah, but nothing will ever change between us. You'll always be my best friend,"- Jade replied, hoping to cheer Tai up. That only put him in a worse mood. Being best friends wasn't good enough anymore.
"Oh, yeah..." -Tai said, not sure what else to say. He couldn't explain why but he had developed a crush on Jade.
