"I want to go with mommy and daddy..." Alakey whimpered, and a small tear rolled down on his cheek. Zira walked up to him.
"I'm sorry, dear... You can't go with them" she said.
"Why?" the cub cried.
"I'll tell you when you're an adult, and understand better" Zira said, and then grabbed Alakey in her mouth and walked away.

This is when Alakey was abandoned... He's just seen his mother and father desappear to the sunset, when Zira grabs him in her mouth, and carries him away. But the poor cub wouldn't want to go with her. :(
