Yes it's little Hasani and Imani. No they aren't mates or mates to be or whatever you want to call it.
Imani will have a small crush on Hasani but will get over it once he finds his own mate. Crushes come and go but Imani in my opinion would have probably made a good friend to Hasani or vice versa.
See in Imani's profile it states that her sister Johari pretty much starts to ignore her after she grows a fixation with the pride leader Ikeena. Hasani being Hasani would feel bad for her and try to cheer her up though it wouldn't always work she was always grateful for his help.
