Mheetu had just married Kala, the princess of a pride far south. Her father was just finishing up his time as king before it passed to Mheetu and Kala. One early morning, Mheetu was telling the story about where he came from. He explains the evil Scar to some cubs, hoping to teach them a moral in the end, but is interrupted by a laugh. Mheetu was stopped by the old, and most likely crazy, lion of the whole pride. The lion explained that he had recently traveled to the Pride Lands and everything was fine. Mheetu didn't believe him until he mentioned Simba coming back from the dead and beating Scar. Mheetu was suddenly excited by hearing this. He needed to find out if this was true, so he dragged Kala along with him. Now that they were strong adults, the tip did not take as long as when Mheetu was a lonely cub, forced out of the Pride Lands. They arrived at the borders by night, and it was looking like a storm was coming. Mheetu was surprised to see plants and animals everywhere. He began to think it was true, and sprinted out into the beautiful Pride Lands. He was stopped when he saw some lionesses talking. He watched them carefully, looking for Nala or his mother. It was now beginning to rain, when he heard someone behind him. Mheetu turned to see...Sarafina, his mother. He smiled and she looked at him, shocked. She could not believe it was her son. She believed he was dead but the strange lion looked like him.
"Hi, mom," -Mheetu greeted her, calmly.
"Mheetu?"-Sarafina said and then smiled. There was no doubt. The way he looked, much like his sister and father, was unmistakeable. It was him. They stared at each other for a long time, amazed, and it had begun to pour.
"Mom, I have so much to tell you. You won't believe it," -Mheetu explained, smiling from ear to ear. Then, another voice spoke when the lioness saw them.
"Mom, what are you..." -Nala trailed off when she looked into the strange lion's eyes. "Who are you?!" -Nala questioned. He seemed familiar but it seemed impossible.
"Nala...?"-Mheetu asked. She had grown up.
Sarafina looked at both of her children and smiled.
"It's Mheetu,"- Sarafina explained to Nala, who's jaw dropped.
"That's impossible," -Nala replied, tears in hers eyes.
"No, it's just unbelievable but completely true,"- Mheetu answered.
