"Hey... Are you okay?"

"Zo? What's wrong?" Karimah asked with a worried tone in his voice, as Zola turned her head away from him, and closed her eyes.

"Hey... look at me" he then said quietly, but Zola refused to turn her head back to him.

"I can't..I'm sorry" she said, with a broken voice.

"Why can't you look at me?" Karimah asked, with a confused and also surprised tone in his voice.

"Because... it hurts too much" Zola whispered, and now a small tear rolled down on her cheek. Karimah looked rather confused, and tried to look her in the eyes, but she kept turning away.

"Karimah, I.. I need to tell you..." Zola began, and turned her head towards the male, but then just sighed, and turned away from him again.

"... Nothing. Never mind" she said quietly, blinked the tear away, and then ran off.

"Zola, wait!" Karimah called after his friend, but the female was already gone.
