Some Ari and Maalik.
There's a point where Ari and the pride must travel through the desert and I imagine that it's a strain on everyone...and Ari ends up talking to Maalik about how she's meant to lead her people out of the sands without starving or dying from exhaustion.

Shoot I had a full comment written too :/ I don't like this, I LOVE this! And in my now non-existent comment, I said it was kind of funny how the last image was with Ari warning Maalik not to screw up or do anything bad, and how in this one she's asking for his advice on what to do. Really shows how far the two come from the beginning. |

Ari knows that there's a good chance that many of her pride mightn't survive something like this and she's pretty sure that she's just led them all to their graves so she seeks out someone who she knows will be able to give her a fair and honest view.
