the song starts off with Asriel telling Marina taht she doesn't need to pretend she's fine, beause he heard Vitani call her names and Marina Albinett started to cry. He's telling her to wipe away her tears. then Marina tells him that she doesn't want his brotherly love, because she feels guilty that he has to look after her instead of leading his own life. She wants him to find a mate, settle down, and have cubs. But he refuses to leave her uncared for. The part where she says "Though I regret I love you too" it means she doesn't want to love him becuase she feels so bad, like she's falling in a con.
