I hide away in the shadows
So they're unbeknown about my curse
They're laughing, sneering faces:
Can't think of anything more worse.
Being alone is what I pleasure
I feel at one with so much joy
but the one thing that I'll never have I want:
Is a kind and caring boy.
He'd care for me and hold me
Till the starts came out at night
He'd protect me from the bullies
I'd be the only one for his sight
But I know that'll never hap-pen
Because I'm not perfec-tion.
