As do I. It's horrible, but the sheer complexity of the situation, not to mention all the oodles of potential character growth, make it too appealing not to do. Yeah he would understandably be freaked out at first, but then over time he would be very sad because he felt he let Shasta down so much that it would eventually serve as a motivator for him to make up for his prior mistakes, and be there for her.

That is pretty cruel...but I like it. Although I imagine if Shasta tells Firion she loves him (Because she still does after everything) then he may be more than a little freaked out and I don't even want to think about his reaction to Shasta having to explain about the miscarriage to him.

I've been thinking - what if Firion never regains his old memories? I think that would make his character much more interesting - he forgets the past and starts anew, and I'm sure if Shasta finally told him what they were like and what would happen, then I think Firion would try and make new memories for himself since he can't remember his old ones. Kinda cruel for Firion, but I think it'd make for one interesting story!

I know, I think of all of our couples it's Firion and Shasta who suffer the most. All the (censored) they have to go through is unbelievable and cruel but I guess it'll only make them stronger...if Shasta can find a way to deal with the past and Firion regains his memory.

We're terrible, terrible people for making these two suffer like this. Shasta tormented by her past with Firion and the loss of their cubs, and Firion... well, from suffering from amnesia of course! I think this is the most cruel we've ever put one of our couples through, but it's just so much fun and it makes for good scenarios like these! I love it!
