Birth of the Princess
Rafiki held the tiny brown cub in his paws. ''It is a girl.'' he happily announced. Kiara had another cub in her paws, a tan cub with her mother's fur. Rafiki had announced that he was the first born and would therefore be king one day.
Kovu walked up to Kiara and nuzzled her. ''A prince and a princess.'' he said. ''Can anything make it better?''
Rafiki brought their little girl over. ''She looks a lot like you, Kovu.'' Kiara pointed out. ''Are you kidding me? She looks just like you." Kovu protested. ''Are you two going to argue all day about who your little girl looks like?'' Zuwena piped up, sounding annoyed. ''Why don't you pick her a name instead?''
''What shall we call her?'' Kiara asked. ''How about Imani?'' Kovu suggested. Kiara shook her head. ''Sorry, but that doesn't sound like her. What about Fayola?'' ''That's perfect.'' Kovu smiled at his little daughter.
''My little Fayola.''
