The Trickle of a Stream of Tears . . .
Zeke had been banished for supposed murder.
After the trial, his mother Fey had disappeared. She had been in a state of shock throughout the hearing, unable to believe her son to be guilty.
Her mate, I, sought her across the territory, finally finding her in a grim thicket of vines and gnarled trees - crying her heart out. Tears dropped from her distraught face, sparkling in the thin light.
I had no words to say. The pair hugged, the darkness of what had happened to their once-happy family wreathed around them, penetrating their souls . . .
Mhhmm, I'm doing alot of sad scenes :/ Let's try make my next one happy!
