See Your Daughter
Reno took up a vow of chastity because of how screwed up his father was, and begins to hate himself after producing Rena. As a result he rejects his mate and daughter, at least until Rena is older and Ikeena calls him out on it.
Since Rena looks like a male cub anyways with her hair tuft, she pretty much fit in, with just some minor changes.
