?Maybe I imagined it?? Mayonaka said to herself, before turning to go back to Mwiba and Mwepesi. She had left the two lions alone without an explanation and she knew when she got back, she would be pressed into answering why she suddenly left. As she made her way back towards the Watering-Hole, she heard a twig snap and her head swung around as she gasped slightly, her mouth slacking slightly to catch any scents. She than thought she seen movement yet again and the fur along her back started to stand up slightly.
Out of nowhere, there was a flash of dark brown. ?There it is again!? She thought and narrowing her eyes, she sprang back over to the Rock outcrop? ?Uh? Hello?? She said in uncertainty, her ears back and her eyes narrowed. Her muscles rippled under her pelt as she went into a stance that made her ready to spring away at any time.
?Well, aren?t you one un-natural babe.?
She jumped around, her tail lashing to see a male lion in the shadows? From his looks, he was about her age, maybe a bit older. She could not tell completely for he was in the shadows, but she was sure his pelt was a dark brown?
?Who are you?? She growled, lowering her body to the ground more in a stance ready to spring away or attack at any second.
?Oh. I forgot to introduce myself? I am Kovu, future king of Pride Rock!? He said proudly as he walked out and towards her.
A growl echoed in her throat as the male moved closer and then she pricked her ears a little at his statement. ?Oh really? I did not know King Simba had a son. I only heard he had a daughter named Kiara.? She said in slight interest.
?Oh yes he does. I am not that flea-bag?s son! Oh no! I am proud son of Zira.? He said in a smug smile. ?My mother?s Outlander Pride is planning to over-take Simba and his pride and drive them out of their land.? Kovu said in a voice full of smug pleasure. ?Would you like to join us??
At the name of the blood thirsty lioness, Mayonaka?s ears flew back to her head and her tail swished angrily on the ground. She pulled her lips back to reveal thorn sharp teeth. ?No I would not like to join you, Kovu! I have had my fair share of your Mother and there is no way I am going back!? She hissed. ?Have a good day, Kovu.? She spat and went to leave.
?No! Don?t leave, babe!? Kovu called and jumped over her, making Mayonaka go back into a threatening stance.
?Why not?!? She demanded.
?Well, first off. I like the idea of having another lioness to be around, and possibly have cubs with once I am King.? He said, moving closer to her and giving her scruff a light nip in what was supposed to be a playful way.
?NO!? Mayonaka screeched at once, jumping away. ?I would never be a lioness that would be willing to have cubs with you! I know how you pride lions work! You get a lioness pregnant and then move on to the next lioness ready to become pregnant!? She growled. ?That is why I do not join any pride!? She growled and with that, she jumped up and sprang off, running back to her two adopted older siblings, ignoring his yells of her to come back.

So that is that. Just so you know, this is before Kovu meets Kiara and ?saves? her from the fire.
