Yeah, we do love our dysfunctional families! This is definitely NOT going to turn out like Teshi and Abena. While Shemsa has some very deep-rooted ideas about what it means to be a pride lioness, she loves Munira more and just wants to protect her. She'll come around for her daughter.

Exactly! I mean everyone's going to have their disagreements, and I'm sure everyone knows that we're not going to always agree with our parents. But like you said, that doesn't mean that we don't love each other. A bit refreshing from all the other mother-daughter relationships, to be honest.

I KNOW! I wanted to elaborate that just because I said that Munira and Shemsa had disagreements doesn't mean they don't love each other. They do, they just have different views on things.
