Ferana: ''You stay away from my daughter, Ragai!''
Ragai: ''Oh, why, Ferana? Don't you realize we're 'in love? Ha! In love! What a silly idea...''
Ferana: ''I'll be sure I tell Anopa you think so!''
Ragai: ''She loves me, Ferana! And she thinks I love HER! She won't listen to an old-fashioned lioness like yourself, mother or no... She just doesn't get it.''
Ferana: ''You'll hurt her, Ragai! She's almost TWO YEARS younger than you, barely more than a cub!''
Ragai: ''I don't care if she gets hurt - as long as I get what I want. It'll be HER fault, anyway, since she won't listen to her mommy.''
Ferana: ''So now you're using my wisdom as an excuse and a reason for all this to happen? You fool. You try anything, and I will kill you!''
Ragai: ''Sure, sure... but by then I hope you know that I, as well as the other boys, will be out of the pride.''
