Kira's heart pounded in her tiny chest as she edged toward her brother. She saw him move and let out a loud sigh.
'I thought you were dead!' She grinned, and rolled beside him. She nudged him and he opened his eyes.
'I lvoe you...'he whispered.
Kira gigled . 'I thought you said that's soppy! Hey, don't go to sleep!' She grinned as he closed his eyes.
She tugged his ear and tickled his nose with her tail. Her little laugh faded away.
'B?' She whispered. 'B, come on! I wanna play...'
'B?!' She cried desperatly, as a tear slid down her face. She hugged him-he was stone cold. He was so limp..and lifeless.
He was dead.
'No...'
