It probably wouldn't, but I had a funny image of Maalik jumping in and saving her before Abel killed her. You know, to go back to our conversation about how funny it would be if either of them defended the other.

I know. If Ari knew why Abel was attacking her family I think she would do this because she would see it as being her fault that Zuri is dead in the first place so she'd be willing to sacrifice herself to save her family. Whether it works or not is a completely different matter...

Ari's very brave for standing up to Abel about the whole Zuri issue, but she better be thinking of turning tail since Abel's going to have her head for that. *needs to seriously work on those fics*
