Kigeni growled at the larger lion. ''We have nowhere else to go! This place could be our kind's last chance! You HAVE to let us stay!''
Simba roared. ''These are my lands! You can't just skulk around, not even telling us you're here!''
''We have a lioness heavy with cubs. Those cubs have to live, good King - you just can't sentence them to die,'' the young male behind Kigeni spoke up.
Simba sat up. ''Fine.''

Kigeni isn't the leader of his pride, he's just stepping up here to defend his pridesister's right to rear her cubs. Thank goodness Simba decided to let them stay.
