Accidentally In Love | RP FRAME |
First of all, let me just say how proud I am of these two! They have grown so much throughout their time together and they have both finally gained the courage to admit their true feelings not only to each other but to themselves as well!
This is (my version of) a screenshot of a scene within the RP that me and Charlee are STILL continuing with. (230 pages strong!)
I actually need to rant a little bit because I had quite a difficult time completing this image! I began the render, which took me hours just to get the bodies of both the lions right, then I began to edit the background and just manipulate the image the way I wanted and just before I had it all finished, my laptop froze. Thankfully I had saved the image, so I forced my computer to shut down and then restarted it. When it turned back on my GIMP had been restored to factory settings, losing all of my customized features!! Then, when I tried to open my image it said 'file cannot open', and I had to restart all from scratch.
I got halfway through making this picture the SECOND TIME AROUND, and for some reason, the SAME THING HAPPENED, THE SAME THING. So, during my rage, I put my laptop to the side and went to get a drink, when I came back my laptop had fallen onto the ground somehow and the charger had snapped in half. I now cannot charge my laptop unless I physically hold the charger in place the entire time.
I did want to make this image however, so once again, I restarted. Thankfully, third time lucky, (and many, many hours later), I succeeded!
Anyways, here is a small piece from the RP. I hope you all like the image!!

Jess:
Kobee stared at Kiana in the sunlight, free from the urge to hide from his insecurities and for a moment he almost felt liberated. He nodded to her comment slightly, his intense expression was almost soft and his eyes were filled with adoration.
“It sure is beautiful…” Kobee muttered under his breath, but as Kiana looked out at the beautiful scenery around him his eyes remained focused on her.
Charlee:
Kiana inhaled a few more sniffs of the air around her, and then leaned her head back slightly. Just enough for her head to nudge against Kobee's muzzle. A gentle, almost kiss like gesture caused Kiana to purr even louder, and her purr grew accompanied with a shy giggle. Kiana turned herself to face Kobee directly, and she immediately met his adoring gaze with her own, but her eyes broke contact as she grew shy and her cheeks grew warm. Her nose wrinkled slightly as her body adjusted itself in its' new comfortable position.
Kiana began speaking slowly, making sure to choose her words carefully, but her embarrassment caused her to speak softly, "I've always heard stories from my mother about how love should be... But I never imagined being this comfortable around someone before...I'm so at ease, my body feels so relaxed yet my stomach is full of butterflies! It's such a great feeling... And.. I've never felt it before.. I feel like.. This is it. This is what my mother always told me about... It isn't a myth after all."
Kiana ended her small confession with a gentle coo and bat of the eyelashes playfully. Trying to lighten the tone, in hopes of getting her out of her embarrassing phase -- but it was too no success.
Kiana's eyes wandered again, but this time examining Kobee. She was looking at his features that weren't so visible from afar. And she was admiring him. Admiring his muscles that clenched a certain way with his exhales of breath. The way his mane brushes up and down against his chest. The beautiful shades of brown dancing around within Kobee's eye, melting together to make the perfect blend of mocha -- and his blue, blind eye only emphasising it.
Kiana smiled at this new admiration she was developing. And her ease came to her like a tidal wave. She was now comfortable again. Her eyes narrowed and she said under her breath, "And this is just the beginning of our happily ever after..."
She pushed herself closer, and linked her head underneath Kobee's jawline. She dug deep, really getting his scent deep within her nostrils. She exhaled out in pleasure and then whispered again, "You gave me my happily ever after... You are my happily ever after... I'm so happy I know that now..."
Kiana closed her eyes, yet her smile remained wide.
She believed the words she was saying, with all her heart she did. Deep down, she knew; it would get worse before it would get better.. But, she had to keep reassuring herself it would be worth it... No matter how much worse it may get....
Jess:
Kobee’s breath hitched as he heard the words fall effortlessly from her mouth. Love… Just the sound of her voice against the delicate term made his heart leap from his chest. He had never known love before; Kima had never described it to him. Kobee had always believed love would never be for him as it wasn’t for Kima, he had always believed that he didn’t need a female to complete him. It wasn’t until he became older that he’d grown hungry for a family, he desired a mate, but of course this was only ever going to be a distant dream.
Now here he was, in a tight knit jungle with the most beautiful lioness in the world. It was so much further than he had ever thought that he would be at this point in his life, but it was exactly the way he wanted it.
He lifted his head slightly as Kiana burrowed up under it and instantaneously as she touched his skin his heart began to flutter. It was perfect, she was perfect. He lifted his foreleg and placed his paw around her shoulders, her slender figure tightly fitting into his chest. And then, completely out of character, Kobee’s face became a reflection of his emotions and he began to purr.
