Heated Discussion (BtS)
Kobee was awoken at dusk to the sound of harsh whispers nearby, his eyes fluttered open and he glanced around hazily in confusion. He was in his usual sleeping place next to the mouth of the den and the sun was just beginning to rise into the sky. He blinked slowly as he tried to remove the crust from his eyes but when he realised who else was awake he closed them tight and listened intently.
It was Kopa and Kiana, they were a few metres away from him and by the sound of their hushed tone they weren’t too pleased with one another. Kobee couldn’t quite make out what they were saying but from what he could grasp it was Kopa who was irritated with his future bride. Kiana sounded desperate as she quietly pleaded with him but his stubborn personality made it almost impossible for her to calm him down. Kobee scolded himself, he knew it was impolite to eavesdrop and he decided that he would make his presence known.
Kobee hated the fact that Kiana sounded unhappy and he felt that he needed to do something. Standing to his feet he let out a mighty yawn and then wandered toward them slightly. He stopped in his tracks and then pretended as though he hadn’t known they would be there. As he peered around the cave it was apparent that they were the only three who were awake and he widened his eyes in embarrassment.
“Oh, my apologies your highnesses, I didn’t realise you were awake.” He stuttered in his most convincing voice. His worried expression was sincere however and he stared at Kiana as he tried to telepathically ask her if she was alright. Kopa shook his head and growled before retreating out of the den and pushing past Kobee. Kiana, clearly humiliated by what had happened nodded at Kobee slightly before rushing deeper into the cave and out of sight. Kobee stood alone and although he desperately wanted to comfort Kiana, he was contented that he had gotten Kopa away.

Okay, I really am not pleased with how this image turned out. It took me soooooo long to do and then it ended up not as good as I would have hoped. Oh well, poor Kiana! :sad:
