The Lion King Origin Forums
A collage / wallpaper-ish thingy I made for my TLK discussion forums that are for those who like to seperate the books from the movies just like Disney meant it.
Oh, this isn't the version I originally uploaded to DeviantArt. That one has falling stars included. Oh well. And there's no fan graphics of mine by me on DeviantARt anymore, you can find them on Fanpop under my username BenDaImmortal.

They approved those outsider-created books and comics as a bunch of alternate universe storylines, they do not mean them as part of their self-created movie universe. They're just alternate universes through profit fanfiction which Disney holds as merchandize for to make money with. That's all. This is clear by the commentary track of the first film, the official trailer of the second film and interviews with one of the sequel film's creators. Story and character-wise, Disney does not care about nor acknowledge the books and comics.
