The icy liquid rippled outward from their bodies across the glasslike surface of the lake as Dusk and Falcon glided through the water. The love was heavy upon their hearts yet light enough for their souls to escape upward into a new world of utter bliss, and still they ached for each other. Falcon gripped her with his paw and embraced her as he fondled with her fur, they were so mesmerised by each other that the fireflies that danced in a blanket of light above them faded into the outside world, leaving nothing but them, right here in this moment.
