Jillian frowned" Who are you to say who i can and can't go around Zuberi.."
Zuberi growled" He is not to be trusted don't you see if he's been raised by Zemar he will grow to be like Zemar or maybe he's going to use you the way Simba used our grandmother!?"
Jillian growled" He would never do that to me.. Kanoa is-" She was cut off by Zuberi" He is what.. Jillian..?"
Jillian sighed" He is sweet and kind and has a heart of gold he would never hurt me..he promised me.."
Zuberi snorted" And you believed him.. what is with you lionesses believing in most males lies..have you a brain use it Jillian don't you see he's going to hurt you.. but i won't let him hurt you.. because your never going near him again.."
Jillian snarled" you are not my father and you have no right to tell me who i can and can't see.."
Zuberi stared at her" Maybe so.. sister, father told me i could. He doesn't like Zemar either or Kanoa so face facts father won't even let you see him"
Jillian shook her head" Your wrong dad would never do that he wants me to be happy."
Zuberi sighed" And so do I Jillian but with him you will get your heart broken or worse and i for one won't stand aside and watch it happen.."
Jillian huffed" I will go with him if i want to he is my friend.."
Zuberi shook his head" If i or father catches you near him.. he and Zemar will be kicked out of the pride lands understand.."
Jillian was about to leave but halted at his comment" You can't do that"
Zuberi sighed" I will if i see you near him..im only trying to protect you Jillian.."
Jillian looked back at him, her eyes filled with sadness as she turned around and ran into the den. Zuberi sighed" Its for the best sis.."

Like you said, you can't blame him for being protective especially
since he sees Kya's 'death as his fault...although Jillian doesn't
seem to appreciate the thought. |
